Welcome to Hulme Hall Pre-School
At Hulme Hall Pre-School we believe that every child deserves the best possible start in life in order for them to fulfil their potential. Children develop quickly in their early years and a child’s experience between birth and age 5 has a major impact on their future life chances. A safe and happy childhood is important.
At Hulme Hall we build relationships together and create a team with one shared goal: to provide each child with what they need to develop and grow. Your son or daughter can expect to find a friendly, caring atmosphere in our Pre-School.
Our children are happy, secure and confident, with a love of life and learning.

Parents are ‘children’s first and most enduring educators’
Forming a partnership with parents and carers is essential if early years practitioners are to plan effectively for a child’s learning.
We recognise that working with parents is of major value and importance in enabling us to provide a happy, caring and stable environment for the children. We aim to form a good relationship with parents so information regarding their child’s development (be it developmental, social or health-related) can be exchanged easily by staff and parents.

Hulme Hall Pre-School represents an incredibly important stage in a child’s development – a time when they establish the foundations of their learning and begin to prepare for school. We believe that this time should also be exciting, fun and stimulating.
The curriculum at Hulme Hall Pre-School is based on the Early Years Foundation framework and children learn by playing, exploring and being active and creative both indoors and outdoors.
We offer the kind of environment which ensures that children feel valued and secure, whilst at the same time receiving an education which will be the foundation of years of productive learning.
- We provide a broad and stimulating educational environment which encourages each child to fulfil their potential and become life-long learners.
- We value each child for what they can achieve academically, physically, socially and emotionally.
- We encourage independence, responsibility and consideration for others.
- We provide a stable, sensitive and welcoming atmosphere in which our children feel happy and secure.
- We develop an effective three-way partnership between children, parents and school.
As children commence their journey in our Pre-School we begin to develop and nurture strong positive attitudes where they become proud and respectful of themselves, others, and the environment.
By the end of their journey, our children are enthusiastic and confident learners who are ready for the challenges of school. We have a firm transition policy in place and liaise with Primary schools to ensure smooth transitions.
