Funds are raised primarily by such events as the Summer Fair, Special Functions, and Demonstration Evenings. It has been agreed by all parties that since all families benefit from the activities of the Parents' Association, all should contribute by means of an initial payment of £15 followed by £10 per annum, which is added to the account for school fees.
The Parents' Association has provided many, varied items to the School's amenities:
- Art - Acrylic Paints, Water Colour Crayons and Colour Printer
- Design Technology - Sanding Machine
- English - Library Books, Audio and Video Tapes
- History - Resource Books
- Music - Electronic Piano, TV/Video
- Science - TV/Video, Aquarium
- School Theatre - Mixing Deck, CD and Twin Cassette Deck
- Senior Library - Refurbishment of the Senior School Library
- 8 Senior Classrooms - Interactive Whiteboards and Projectors
- Theatre - New Stage Curtains
- Junior Library - New Books
- Junior School - New Playground Markings, Playground Benches, Interactive Whiteboards, Laptop and Projectors
- Geography - Laptop and Projector
- PE/Games - New Rugby Kit, Trampoline, Washing Machine, Gym Equipment, Football Kit
- Into each of 4 Classrooms - Interactive Whiteboard, Laptop, Projector
- Home Economics - Four new Blending Machines and Dryer
- After School Club - Gazebo for Shade
The Parents’ Association makes a valuable contribution to the life and community of the school. Through their tireless efforts, members of the PA have supplemented the provision of resources that have had a direct impact upon the quality of each child’s education.
