HARVEST FESTIVAL
WEDNESDAY 20TH OCTOBER 2010
Pupils from Nursery to Year 6 at Hulme Hall Grammar School celebrated Harvest by reminding parents and friends about the need to share. The pupils followed up their Harvest presentations by being as good as their word. The Year 6 pupils delivered 38 Harvest bags to the residents of Smithy Green, then took tins and packets to the Salvation Army in Stockport, ending up at St Ann’s Hospice with boxes of fresh fruit.
Mrs Ormiston, Head of Juniors said, “ We are grateful for the support of Waitrose to enable us to provide so much fresh produce for the elderly residents who clearly enjoy meeting the children as well as receiving the food.”
