Infants and Juniors: Age 5 - 11 Years

The structured life of the school offers the children a high degree of stability and stimulus. It provides a friendly and supportive environment where children can build confidence and self esteem through interaction between their peers and the adult teaching team. Small class sizes make it possible to equip the children with knowledge and skills they can take with them on their lifelong journey of learning.
“In the Junior School, the quality of care is now outstanding.” ISI Report 2007.
A high quality, dedicated staff provide a broad and balanced curriculum. Being part of a larger school means that the Junior children can benefit from the expertise of Senior School teachers in IT, Games, Music and French. This helps to ensure that every child fulfils their potential.
The staff encourage the children to develop relationships which continue through Junior School and later on into the Senior School. Through social interaction and sporting activities, they learn about the importance of sharing and caring for each other.
The play areas are well supervised and group activities are encouraged. Hungry children are well catered for in the school dining room; dedicated catering staff ensure that there is a broad menu and that every child is presented with a well balanced diet which is nutritious and fun to eat.
Good friends and good behaviour go hand in hand at the school, a respect for each other is promoted as a matter of course. Children who are treated to the Hulme Hall experience are not only a delight to teach but are the kind of family members who are welcomed everywhere and never fail to make their parents proud.
